Icelandic Horse tours in the Westfjords
Our daily summer tour period is June 1 - August 31. For dates outside this time please contact us in advance (We are closed September 20th-December 31st when we let our horses out in the valley).
Our tours take you through the valleys of the mountains ("the Westfjords Alps") near Þingeyri, crossing rivers and heading out towards the black sand beaches along the fjord. You will get a chance to explore one of the most remote regions, and most dramatic landscapes, in Iceland.
We enjoy taking visitors off the beaten track through some of Iceland´s most breathtaking scenery, providing an authentic experience in a friendly environment. Visitors to Þingeyri are always welcome to stop by the stables and say hello to the horses.
Please see below for details on the two summer tour options. To book a tour, fill out our contact form.
Custom private tours are also available; contact us for more information and pricing.
